Latina/o First Responder Alliance was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. From case managers to outreach workers, we work together to provide comprehensive support to our clients.

We are a professional, voluntary, and non-profit multi-skilled organization dedicated to empowering individuals who are committed to making their communities stronger. Our mission is to inspire and support those who aspire to become First Responders—people who serve others and actively improve their environment for future generations. We foster meaningful conversations and provide mentorship to build inclusive, equitable communities. We aim to increase representation and opportunity in underserved areas by encouraging leadership, service, and collaboration. We define a First Responder as anyone who steps up to serve, protect, or uplift others—regardless of title or uniform—contributing to a safer, more empowered community.
